ARTIST: Funeral For A Friend
TITLE: This Letter (Live on The Edge, February 27th 2004)
ALBUM: N/A
GENRE: (Acoustic) Emocore
YEAR: 2004
---
Funeral For A Friend were featured on Virgin Radio's show 'The Edge' on February 27th
2004, and at around 1:30am that night a brand new track was played for the very first
time. It's called 'This Letter', and I've tabbed out the intro/verse riff, which is
played several times throughout the song. It's a beautiful song, Funeral need to do more
acoustic!

band: Funeral For A Friend
song: This Letter
tabbed by: funeralforafrie with alot of help from LessThanLuke
Another fantastic heart-felt acoustic song from the band, not hard to play
Gotta say a big thanks to LessThanLuke who in fact sorta really gave me some of the notes
I required..As before seeing his tab, I was playing it up at the 9th fret, so really, he
should get most of the credit for this. His fingerpicking version is included so if your
voting that bit as better,, please go rate his version, not mine. Thank you. (Please note
on his version, which he has submitted, it does say hammer on both times, ive only
altered this too make it more readable)
Intro and verse played throughout with a picking bit in between where it starts "Does it
seem, to matter" then back to this until the heavy strumming bit at the end which I will
add very very soon

Tuning:c sharp. (drop D half a step down, wally) well actually it doesnt need
to be but the rest of their songs are so what the hell. if u cant be bothered
to tune down your guitar, play it a fret down. you don't even play the bottom
string anyway.clever aren't i. i'll shut up. u prolly arent reading it anyway

Ive noticed that the other This letter tab outros are nowhere near close to the original
I've been playing them wrong!) so I decided have a stab at it. This is my first tab! It
not completely accurate, and any suggestions would be great. Enjoy! (ericduxbury@hotmail.com)
