Welcome to Paradise - Green Day (Dookie)

IMPORTANT!!!!
The first thing you need to know about this song is that the guitar is tuned
down a half step. Therefore, E is E flat, A is A flat and so on. If you don't
want to tune your guitar down, then you'll just have to look up another version
which is probably wrong. I'll show you the part in the tab which requires you
to tune your guitar down. Or you could just play the tabs anyway, without the
right note. I'm just picky about these things.

This is one of my all-time favorite songs. No one seemed to have the tab right so I
thought I'd help you out. I wrote it out with nearly the exact strumming patterns that I
follow. The strum patterns may not be 100% accurate but it sounds good as the
notes are 100% correct.

Standard tuning. Aside from the chorus, the tab is pretty correct. Still sounds cool.

Tuning half a step down
I noticed that UG has a lot of submissions for this but ive tabbed a technical version
for people really wanting to play this well and straight from the tab, included in my
tab that others don’t have is –all guitars tabbed, notes for bass, vague amp settings,
general info, tips for playing and a 100% correct tried and tested my own version that
sounds amazing, bridge. The bridge does sound so good when played in time correctly.
and I really suggest you check it out –if you like playing this song cos it may surprise
you when you listen along with the song how much it sounds lie it, Hope UG accepts this
and hopes you guys like this? Vote and comment plz, thanks.

This song is really easy to play, especially if your used to playing a lot
of power chords like i am. I made this version so that you don't have to
change your tuning to some weird shit, like the other versions make you do,
and you can just stick to good ol' standard tuning. Also this is my first
tab so forgive me if i make some little mistake. Enjoy :P
