________________
/ Tool / This song is about the fundamental stupidity of man when
/ Right in Two / it kills itself in wars and such, because it's sometimes
/ 10,000 days / doesn't see past things as greed, power, blood and
/_______________/ everything else that ever caused a conflict. Note Maynard's
lovely religious style here, he's genius!

Song: Right in Two
Album: 10,000 Days
Tabber: Mike Heese
I've seen a lot of tabs for this song and I've noticed that they all leave
out one important factor: picking near the bridge. It really helps duplicate
the sound of the song. A LOT.
0:00 - 1:19
Clean, pick close to bridge

G|(7)-----------(5)-----(12)-----|(Play as if they were harmonics)
D|-------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------|Repeat this for the intro
D|-------------------------------|
On the last one, just play the muted (7).
G|-----7---------7--------7--------12-(12)-|
D|0---(0)---8---(8)---5---5---/10------10--|
A|-----------------------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------------|
Vary between playing the bracketed notes and not playing them.
On the last round, play the open D and let it ring.
Also, mess around with your volume while playing a tremolo on open D.
